According to PRNewswire based in Panama City, a unit of IAP Worldwide Services played a critical role in the generation of an air traffic control system for support in Afghanistan; during the freedom enduring operation. Officially launched on July 2nd, the Kabul Air Control Centre offers positive control, on- radar radio-based machine for visual flight rule and flight role services in Kabul (FIR), and Flight Information Region. RMS, being the contractor for Air Force Contract Augmentation Program, partnered with its subcontractors and U.S Air Force to design innovative airways. Besides, the partnership included delivery services for installation, communications maintenance, staffing of the air traffic monitors while providing final flight check in the rule flight services.

The key contributors to the project were RMS subcontractors Midwest ATC Services and ManTech Telecommunications. With Midwest ATC Services providing air traffic controllers, ManTech Telecommunications offers the following services in Afghanistan:
