A prominent figure in the marketing and advertising world of Brazil is José Henrique Borghi. With over 25 years of experience in the advertising world, Borghi has worked with many top companies including Ikea, Google, General Motors and other international corporations.
After obtaining his degree in advertising at Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo, he started his advertising career in 1989. Some of the things José Henrique Borghi dealt with included social media, public relations, design planning, digital markets and performance analytics. His hard work paid off and he was known in the domestic and international advertising market. The next few years lead him to a few companies where he held positions as a Vice President, President, and Co CEO.
In 2002, he and friend Ray Erh founded their own advertising agency called Creative Intelligence Agency. At the time, they lacked financial help and struggled. After years of growing the company with clients and employees, they merged with the Lowe Advertising Agency in 2015 and Borghi became CEO. Today, the company has changed names and is now known as Mullen Lowe.
Mullen Lowe is rated as the third leading advertising agency in Brazil and Borghi’s advertisements and campaigns have won awards which includes 20 Cannes, 11 One Show, 12 Clios, 7 London Festival Awards, 16 Abril Awards and even 15 awards at the New York Festival. In 2009, he was awarded the “Agency Professional by the Brazilian Advertising Association (ABP).
